My name is Linda Ha. I am from Hong Kong, which is part of China now. Hong Kong is not a very big city compared with New York, but it is lively and prosperous. Since it is a small city with a large population, it is very crowded.






In fact, Hong Kong is one of the most densely populated areas in the world with an overall density of some 6,300 people per square kilometer.

Hong Kong is Asia's financial center. Its stock market is one of the largest and most dynamic in Asia. Hong Kong is a duty-free city that makes it a heaven for shoppers. It is also a great place to taste varieties of local cuisines.

Hong Kong has a lot of local attractions, such as the newly opened Hong Kong Disney, Ocean Park, The peak, Victoria Harbor, The Big Buddha which, built at the top of a hill, is visited by thousands of visitors who walk all the way up there.

During the Chinese New Year, all stores and restaurants are closed. Everydody is off from school and work during holidays.
